Latham steering add on install

Just picked up a Latham add on steering for my boat and have a couple questions.

How long should I plan for the install?

Boat currently has a bravo 1 but I will be switching it to an XR drive shortly. Is there any difference in the two drives I should be concerned with before installing the steering?

I work on cars and trucks a lot but have little boat experience. Is there anything I should watch out for during the install? I have ge directions but honestly they're not very clear. They also provided 10 different drill schematics how do I know which one to use? The boat is a a 99 outlaw 25

depends on under the dash...can be a real pain getting the helm mounted correctly, running the lines not that bad..the top of the drives will not change steering attachment
