Had a friend do the same thing when mounting a ice chess holder. He screwed the boat to the trailer and couldn't figure out why the boat wouldn't come loose from the trailer. Unreal. I knew a guy that put a stereo system in his boat, screwed the amp to the side of the boat, the screws went right out the side of the boat :SMH

The previous owner of my boat did that with 2 screws right through the bottom when he installed a bilge pump. I have repaired the 2 holes.

I had a friend that was cutting his floor with a sawsall to change it in a Arriva 20 footer...
