Had a friend do the same thing when mounting a ice chess holder. He screwed the boat to the trailer and couldn't figure out why the boat wouldn't come loose from the trailer. Funniest thing I ever saw on the water. Oh, it gets better he keep going back with his truck trying to float the boat, well the boat lifted the rear of the truck, there was a strong wind and the boat pulled the truck into the water. Can you say expensive boat launch.

You are really off target, but its easy to understand why as this is new top secret technology. What your looking at is a prototype of the new Schwatzcraft race boat. While those look like screws they are actually hydro dynamically tested in a computer simulation program run by NASA employees during the incredibly productive 3 martini lunch phase. Their purpose is to 'rip' the surface tension of the water while micro pores inject air into the stream. the resulting benefit is 7x's the effectiveness at reducing drag as a similar multi stepped boat. All this WITHOUT the inherent instability of the spin factor linked to the stepped hull design. Using BAM's speed calculator modified for a drag coefficient of pi x the square root of infinity to the 3rd power, a projected top speed of 364.9876 MPH on stock Messerschmitt power is achieved. I could explain in further detail but the corporate chef has announced that the rack of prime rib prepared in a scallion, boones farm marinade is ready for lunch.

Come on man..........you said you wouldnt tell anybody! How was I supposed to know 3" screws would go through the bottom of my boat?

TWIN-SPINS 08-03-2013 03:43 PM

Holly $hit that is unreal! Well those pics should save someone some money as a FYI - deck screws will not hold a homemade hull step in place...

Unreal. I knew a guy that put a stereo system in his boat, screwed the amp to the side of the boat, the screws went right out the side of the boat :SMH

The previous owner of my boat did that with 2 screws right through the bottom when he installed a bilge pump. I have repaired the 2 holes.

I had a friend that was cutting his floor with a sawsall to change it in a Arriva 20 footer...

I let you guess what happened!!!
