93 Powerquest 270 laser twin 350 mags motor build help.
 

I have a 93 Powerquest laser 270 with twin 350 mag carb motors in the boat right now.

475 hrs on them and both run great.
I want to hit 70 with this boat and she does about 65 right now.
Alpha drives.
Both replaces with only about 100 hrs on them


I want to build these motos to put out 350 hp instead of the 270 they have.
What is the best and easiest way to hit that route
I don't want to replace out drive either.

Will the alphas hold 350 hp with this boat and being twins. I would think so.

I'm going to put drive showes on them first.
Then what should I do next.

Think cam and heads. Sprink has some 400hp + 355s. Not difficult to achieve. Think vortec heads and intake. Cam up a little and larger carb.

Yup vortec heads, cam swap, and intake would easily put you at 350hp. I went from 53-54 mph to 66.
