I did real carbon fiber. If I ever do it again, will probably do 1/8 aluminum sheet and have it hydro dipped. I did a few parts on my engine with hydro dipping and was very pleased with the result. Since this pic was taken, I added drive temp gauges where the stereo control "was".

Is that a carbon fiber vinyl wrap over aluminum? I've been leaning towards using that because it comes in some many bright color options.

That's not just a digital speedo! That is a livorsi datatach prop slip gauge. It tracks heading, speed, both engine RPM's and calculates prop slip on the fly! Unfortunately they don't make them anymore. Sometimes they surface in the swap shop! It's an awesome item if you can get your hands on one!
