502 heads on mercruiser reman 454?

Trying to do some work this winter to my boat and found I have 12562934 502 heads on a 454 block number 12550313. Anyone else have this?

if its a gen 5 or 6 block they all shared the same heads for the most part..

OK I'm new to gassers being a diesel mechanic. I was told otherwise so I'm trying to do some research.
