The big thing to drilling acrylic is to put a "backer" under it when drilling, make the two pieces rigid to eachother, and go slow with wd-40 keeping it all cool. No crax. Ever.

How does this mirrorized acrylic hold up over time? I was looking to order a couple pieces and there was a disclaimer on the mfg web site saying "Not for use with high humidity or contact with water." Has this been much of an issue for under engine hatch use?

I found it here - http://www.tapplastics.com/

My 04 top gun cracked last year when hauling from interior guy to storage in colder temps. My buddy has a 04 with the mirror and his did the same thing cracked from outer corner to center ram. I was going to redo with a mirror again till I looked at what jbraun(oso) did with his hatch. He painted the inside and it turned out better than mirror in my opinion. This coming winter I will be painting my under hatch.
