+1 on the 4200 for screws, and it's not overkill IMO. More like peace of mind and doing it right the first time.

I use 5200 for stuff that needs to stay stuck permanently, never on hardware or something that might need to come apart someday.

When I rerigged mine after having the transom/stringers replaced I used 2 1/2 of the big caulk gun tubes of 4200 putting it back together. It's the only way to make it last.

2.5 tubes? Did you ditch the through hull exhaust?

I don't use cloth, but I keep painting resin on till wood stops sucking it up.
