I have had to a few of these ,easiest way is with a 3 pin potentiometer, may only take 30 ohms to bring some artificial enrichment when warm .if your trying to get out of cold start enrichment you will have to bypass ect alltogether ,now your risking a cold start backfire ,you don't want that ..or the full flow of your water pump going out the exhaust ,all the time ,a real hp reducer there

Just remembered if it has older procharger crossover kit just pull plug out of top of tstat housing and make sure t stat still there .ill bet you have 50 hp hiding in there waiting to be found

It does have the ATI crossover cooling kit. We un plugged the ect sensor and put a 1000 ohm resistor in its place and now it runs way better. Also, per the pro charge instruction manual, there is no T stat. I did install a restrictor tho.

Installed a 1000 ohm resistor in place of the ect sensor and the boat came to life! For anyone wondering...

Procharger tells ya water under 70 use a 140 t stat over 70 no tstat is nessesary but results may vary dependant on your cooler sequence ,ect

ezstriper 06-20-2014 10:18 AM

in order to run a stat you would have to come up with a bypass to circulate cooling before warming up

Fordtrucks 06-24-2014 12:29 PM

My procharger books says NOT to install a T stat with there crossover cooling system.
