Bass Pro Shops underwater LEDs

Has anyone bought and installed these lights? If so how did you like them. They have stainless housing and I think it said 6 LEDs. I am looking at the green ones.

just looking at the amount of light that it puts off, I think that it will be disappointing. I have the lifeform 9's and they are insane in blue

can you tell us more like where to get them and app cost.

KRAUSMOTORSPORTS 07-28-2014 09:17 PM

Life form 6's here and they are AWEOME on a 25' boat! Also Blue. Well worth the money spent.

Cash Bar 07-28-2014 09:47 PM

Blue is generally the brightest color. Chopper LEDs are most noticeable in blue, then red and down the line the rest.

KRAUSMOTORSPORTS 07-29-2014 09:41 AM

Blue also makes the water look better. Up here in the brackish water, white looks brown and that's just nasty!

LIFEFORM 6's

http://lifeformled.com/lifeform-6/

and the 9's

http://lifeformled.com/lifeform-9/

Kinda crappy that their site is using the same pics for both lights so you dont really know which set you're looking at, 6's or the 9's. I would imagine that they are showing you the better looking product (the 9's) for both, which sucks if the 6's would be all you needed for your application.

kevinb230 07-29-2014 10:31 PM

The 9's are the way to go! use LF10 for 10% off too. Most other lights are plastic, or brass, the lifeform's are stainless.
Heres a link to a pic and video, the video doesn't do them justice... it was taken with a phone.

if you are going to make the effort to install them don't waste your time with some POS from Bass Pro, yes these cost more but they are much better quality and I am sure much brighter, and the time and effort to install them in the same.

Looks nice!! What size in comparison to the Seablaze 3 are these? I am contemplated ordering two single color seablazes.

ICDEDPPL 01-05-2015 07:14 PM

I have no idea, never seen em side by side.

My ext. boxes and drives kinda block the light from 'spreading' probably brighter on a bravo boat.

Just installed 4 SeablazeX Blue/White, one outside of each drive and two facing down in the notch. I already have two 35w Xenon in between the drives that are very bright. Going to the Bahamas this weekend so I hope to try them out. They look great out of the water!

All the specs are on Lumitecs website. They make single color SeablazeX also.

ICDEDPPL 01-05-2015 09:26 PM

Thats is going to be very bright..take some pics!!

pstorti 01-11-2015 10:22 AM

I was hoping they would be brighter but was a little disappointed. The boat has two Sea Vision SV20 35W Xenon lights in between the drives, unfortunately I didn't notice one of the bulbs was burnt out before I left for the trip. Then I have 4 SeaBlazeX blue/white, one on the outside of each drive and two in the notch facing down. This is in the marina at my friends dock They are bright and put out lots of light but the Xenon's are brighter. I was going to take more but we were cleaning fish a big nurse shark came in a stirred the bottom all up.

How many lumen are these lights?

pstorti 01-11-2015 08:14 PM

the Lumitec Sea BlazeX in white are 2800, doesn't give ratings for the colored lights on the site. The Sea Vision SV20 Xenons are 3600.
