When I did my searching about 5-6yrs ago or so for LS exhausts, KEM Equipment had a decent set up for just under $1k. Not sure what they are now but worth a call.

Here's there website:

I would be looking for a set of 496 manifolds. Most sets can be had for less then your parts list costs.

Only thing I can think of is he's talking about the Indmar 6.0l they put in ski boats. I have searched high and low for a used set and cant seem to find any, but I dont know the inboard channels like some may know

I agree put its got to be better then the old cast log style manifolds. What modifcations would you make? Any worry about the 90 degree bends coming off the heads not being water cooled?

your design IS the old log style revisited. just because you can do it doesn't mean it is a good idea. you have enough fabbing work to do without tying yourself up on an exhaust project.

Just curious if anyone has fabed up a wiring harness for the LS that plugs into stock merc cannon plug.. Having oil pressure ,tach and all warnings like low oil pressure and low drive fluid and over temp?
