Crane # 99839-16 should work well. Less than $100.
Same Springs are recommended for Crane #134241 and #132561 cams which are very close in spec to what you have.

Thanks for he help folks. The project is on hold due to the heads that were supposed to be 113cc after measuring are really 123cc. Not ready to rebuild a bottom end that has about 6 hours on it just to replace pistons. But I'll hold the info if/until something happens and I have to do the bottom.

the 049 casting 113cc chamber is a misprint somewhere that got circulated as gospel. i may have another set of l29 heads coming. looking at a whole cheap engine. i need a gen 6 block. if you are staying standard bore, there are many sets of 365 mag pistons-rods around for about 200 bucks. 049's make good power but hafta have that small dome.

mike tkatch is looking for a set of 781 or 049's. then scare up a set of L29's with the dinero.
