Dead batteries need help

I just bought a n 88 Z33 crossbow and it shipped down here to Oklahoma from Indiana and the batteries are dead. I was trying to put a charger on them, but need to raise the power hatch. How do I accomplish this with dead batteries? Thank you -Jeremy

Go under the dash and find the red wire that feeds the ignition switch, hook up a trickle charger there and wait

If you have a cigarette lighter plug, rig up a jumper plug from a booster battery and plug it in. You should be able to then raise the hatch.

I found the wire and used a paperclip and some wire and a jump box, and it fed power to the panel and got the hatch lifted.

Might not be a bad idea for you to install a set of these somewhere accessible for future problems.

Next boating 'in a pinch' lesson. JUmping your ignition switches to start boat without keys.

There's just some things you won't learn in a boating class. LOL.
