maybe a dumb question,,,but why couldnt you use painted brake line ...
talking about from trim motor to fittings on transom..

,,instead of the hard plastic lines???

steel lines rusting???

i think the bent brake lines maybe cleaner look...
and same about drive trim lines???

same question???

ahhhh no ...a they rust b stuff moves around back there more than u know ...so the line they use is the way to go ..believe me if builders thought it would work they would be doing it ..

ok,,,was just a thought,,,,i have all the old hard plastic line...will use,,,save me money,,hahah,,,yea right,,a boat saving money.

You could just use stainless braided an fittings. Or have napa or any hydraulic shop make hydraulic line with stainless crimped jic fittings.
