Whipple 525 problems
Took my ultra shadow out for its inaugural run with my new to me 525 whipple. Got it started and ran it for about 3 minutes brought it to back to neutral and it died on me. Cranked it about. 6 times and started again got on plane ran about 5 more min around 3000 to 4000 rpm when it just died on me. Cranked it at least 10 to 15 times and nothing. Did smell gas, but wouldn't turn over! Had to be towed in....fuel pressure showed 50 psi.
Anyone have any ideas??? Thanks |
pull plugs disable ignition and see if turns over, my be hydrolocked with fuel..careful, thats a bomb, if so spin over and change oil NOW oil is done, then search for original issue

Yes. It's cranking but won't start/ fire. Does that answer your question?
