Bravo one tilt/trim rams rebuild
Has anyone rebuilt thier rams on thier outdrive? For the last while when i pull my outdrive off and put it back on for service my rams don't both line up 100%. Now i just brought my boat home from storage and noticed one of the rams leaking where the shaft goes into the ram. So i think I need to rebuild the rams and bleed them before putting the outdrive back on the boat for the summer. Can this be done and how easy is it? and special tools?

They work great btw |
Just ordered a set of the SEI rams today. The parts add up fast so i do agree with you. was already thinking about that route aswell.

Are the trim rams the same for all bravo's? Would you have any concerns running the SEI's on a high power XR boat?

Did you get the SEIs and if so how did they work?

I've rebuilt mine for about $20 each. Really no special tools needed. Was an hour job tops per side. To get the end cap off. Use a pipe wrench lightly with the anode on while the ram is still on the boat but disconnected on the rear side. The rest is just seals and o rings.

I'm curious as to SEI's rep. as well as I've noticed they offer all kinds of outdrive parts including full units and split lowers/uppers. Anyone have experiences with those pieces?

Where did you get the parts to do the rebuild?
