That's me and it was a ls9 cam, have since switched it out to a custom grind and have no more reversion issues, Imagine that!! Seems to make way more power up top as I have had to run a bigger fuel pump and injectors along with changing my pitch size from a 21 3 blade to a 24 4 blade. Still thinking I could go higher but 70ish is plenty fast for me in a pontoon

Good deal, yeah reversion is bad all around. What specs you end up with on the cam? |
I ran thru the number about advancing the ls9 cam and it was an option, but I realized we have an account with crane cams and they were able todo a custom grind pretty cheap for me so I went that route.
Is 216/220 560"/560" with a 116lsa I'm dumping the water in right after the turbo' s(maybe 2") and if I shut it off and pull it apart there is a tiny bit of water pooling on the exhaust outlet of the turbos, nothing on the vanes or after them(going back to the valves) that was after a long 750rpm idle. I was happy about that. This winter I'm remaking the intake to clean up the runners and make them smoother should flow better. |
