I would not say the engine runs bad, seems to be a little rough at idle. My concern with the oil filled vaccum line to the regulator is that the vaccum effect is negated and that my fuel pressure regulator is not functioning properly. I don't have 02 sensors so I can't tell if I am lean or not.

I'm interested to find out your results, since I've been looking at boats with 502's.
