502MPI intake porting
 

What are people doing when they say they are shortening the dividers etc? Anyone have any pictures? What gains do you see on a otherwise stock 502MPI

I have been down the MPI road as well. Will always be your limiting factor no matter what you do to it. If you are handy with a die grinder you can get some good gains, but not as much as going to a single plane intake and 4bbl throttle body. The MEFI computer and setup can run on any intake once tuned. Pretty basic efi system.

If he doesn't chime in he sent me some pictures of his manifold I can send you. Good for 20-25Hp supposedly...

I didnt invent the runner mod, its been a common thing done time and time again, do the mod, bore your throttle body at same time, put a little cam in and head work and you will make 500+ reliable hp, shortening the runners gives up a little tq and gains hp, going to a open plenum gives up even more tq but will give you impressive hp gains for less money, fwiw, smitty
