I have one and use it often for a myriad of tasks. When connected to a laptop, the resolution is amazing! The adjustable LED lights make looking at shiny things, i.e., cylinder walls work well.

I got a real cheap one that had a full size USB, then an adapter for my phone.
Amazing for such little $$$
