Some good info. Some people, builders frown on the 4.600 4.375 6.535 I like the 582 combo but endurance is questionable. Regardless the info and components can translate to similar builds. Good info. Hard to believe airgap intake got the hp but all in all a 582 with 10 plus to 1 comp should make easily 750. Other thing I noticed was no rpm's were mentioned. I didn't like that but still good info. Tks for posting. Should move over to QA.

I take that back. I did see some rpm's. I still find it hard to believe the airgap kicked the chit out of the sniper jr. I need to review a little more cause of head change so not sure if chamber size changed with or not. Regardless these number claimed are realistic unlike many I see. Like the 540 pump gas 800 hp under 6k etc.

On the water Vic Jr's make more power (ie: more speed) on even more common and much smaller 425-450hp 454's. Yes, samme people and boats that swapped nothing but a vic r in place of the airgap. Added bonus fuel distribution way better too...so, not sure what to make of those dyno tests.

You could think their full of chit like 90 % or more of those test you see are. Can't remember which OSO member was saying about the airgaps but they remarked how terrible they were for efficiency and off extremely far from port to port. Thought it was even you SB. I've never ran one so I couldn't say. Now I have done a back to back on stock merc 365 mag intake vs dart and top end rpm was the same but dart less responsive on stock engine.

That's pretty impressive numbers.

That dual plane airgap has been impressive, and showing better graphs than the single planes except for the very very top end.

I've argued that with some of the best with under 500 ci but finallly gave in. I've never heard much about it on larger cubic inch engines. Matter of fact I honestly don't think any except for this link. I always thought they made good since for marine engines but once again look at merc 500 plus builds. Application could vary I suppose but a twin app 540 notta unless deep drive heavy boat but even then....
