Oil Lines

Need to replumb, any recommendations on hose for engine oil and transmission lines. Not really wanting to deal with SS braided lines and aluminum fittings. The push lok style seems like a good idea.

Stainless AN hose is a pain in the ass and the hands.
I used the black braided AN and black AN fittings.
If you want to save a few bucks, push lock is nice stuff too.

Look up the actual part # with Eaton or whoever makes it. Check its temperature rating. Don't just buy a type of hose because it says it's good for oil.

I have used Aeroquip push lock for oil plumping with no issues.

I used the aeroquip twist lock and works well, just be sure to use the hose and matching fittings from same manufacture

Good point.

Mixing and matching hose ends and hose from different suppliers doesn't always work.

I've been buying from: getfast1.com

I used the push on hose and fittings from CP Marine as the system is pretty friendly for the weekend warriors. I'm sure there's better deals though. Does anyone have any experience with the push locks blowing off? I'm running 70psi and put an ugly hose clamp on the ends just to be safe.
