I respect your opinion, and safety IS paramount! But If I was to build a tank it would be welded by a professional that's been tiging longer than IV been alive, and pressure tested to the standard 4 psi. As far as libality it shouldn't be any different than puting the stock tank back in... Or selling an older boat with a rotted tank that is close to failure because no one can see it.

I was going to use some Pabst to lubeercate the stick welder and clean the aluminum while we put it together.
