fixing dry tails

I recently picked up a used set of dry tails. I pressure tested them and everything seems to be good and sealed up but one side has bad dents in it. I cant see in there but I feel like some of them are bad enough that they are touching the other wall and I don't want hot spots due to bad water flow. So my question is how to do I pull the dents? ive had a few ideas but I don't want to do more damage then good.

1. Ive don't this with dirt bike pipes where I seal up both ends, pressurize the pipe to about 20psi and heat the dents with a rose bud torch end. The heat softens the metal and the air pushes the dent.

2. Paintless dent repair tools? Reach up in there and work em out but I don't think I can get them all with only one entry and don't want to make any more holes.

3. Use the body shop stud welder and slide hammer but I don't know how that will work with welding to the stainless.

Something else I'm thinking here, what kind of temps will they run when flowing water properly? Could I wrap the ends maybe land last 6-8in with carbon fiber vinyl with out catching fire?

Any and all help is very much appreciated.

There are places in the headers that are likely touching where the bends are anyways. I wouldn't lose too much sleep over hotspots in the tails My tails don't get too hot to touch when the boats in the water. On a hose is a different story.

I highly doubt you will be able to get the dents out. If they are not discolored at the dents, then they were not getting any extreme hot spots.
