I see no condesending remark in my post but you're entitled to your opinion. By the way you're trusting your cooling capacity to "some spring" on your thermostat. :poopoo:

I dont know whether or not the perko kit is better, not up to me to figure that out. I just didn't like the idea of plastic. I'm sure in 99.9% of the applications its used it would be perfectly fine, which probably included mine. But Murphy has a knack for following me around at times so I figured I'd eliminate that possibility.
