Another blower motor carb tune
Trying to dial this in but I'm stuck at the moment. I think I have read every carb tuning post posted within the last 15 years here on OSO to get this figured out to where I have it now so YES, I have exhausted the search function here and on Google. Here are the details:
Stb 467ci, 9.0:1, 250 Blower shop with QFT 1050 dominator, 5psi boost Neutral AFR: 12.2 VAC: 15 RPM: 850 in grear AFR: 12.5 VAC: 11 RPM: 650 RPM: AFR, VAC 1000: 11, 10 1500: 12.5,15 2000 10.4, 15 2500 10.8, 15 3000 11.3, 14 3500 11.5, 12 4000 11.6, 10 4500 11.2, 8 5000 11.2, 2 5500 11.4, 2 Port 460ci, 9.0:1, 250 Blower shop with QFT 1050 dominator, 5psi boost Neutral AFR: 12.2 VAC: 14 RPM: 850 in grear AFR: 12.7 VAC: 10 RPM: 650 RPM: AFR, VAC 1000 14.3, 12 1500 11.5, 12 2000 9.6, 12 2500 10.2, 11 3000 10.3, 13 3500 11.5, 10 4000 12.0, 9 4500 11.2, 4 5000 11.0, 1 5500 11.5, 1 AFR taken with O2 wideband in exhaust elbow. I've already made adjustments to IFR, jets, and PV's to get to where I'm at. My concern is cruising at 4k with Port motor showing AFR of 12. I understand the readings are an average of the bank, should this be a concern? As for the rest of the readings, what are your thoughts, good to go boating or keep tuning? |
