Tilt and trim indicator

Need advise on adding a tilt & trim indicator for 1986 225 mercury

it should have a trim sender on the motor now, depending on the year/setup it will be analog or smartcraft digital. to run a std trim gauge needs to be analog sender(I swapped my digital one to analog) its a 1 wire run from engine to gauge, power/ground connect at gauge and adj the sender to read correctly on gauge..

I looked everywhere and nothing. Where should it be located exactly?
