I'll be captain obvious and suggest that you put bungs in both banks of the exhaust and possibly a dual channel wideband to keep an eye on both sides, and it leaves a spare bung should you want to go to EFI. I bought a set of used headers and had a local shop install the bungs. I believe Young has a thread on here on how to install them correctly.

I'm welding in 4 bungs for each bank but only going to monitor the leaner side on each engine. To many gauges to monitor as it is although this one pretty crucial I won't disagree with that. From my experience not much variation from one side to the other with consistent rpm. If I were to monitor both banks I'd probably go this route.. Although doesn't give exact afr it certainly is easy to see at any speed. A matter a fact I'm installing more red warning lights rather than monitoring gauges as much. High speed, rough seas, low windscreen = very difficult to monitor all your gauges. I see dead peeps made a good point of this.

is that a narrow band or wide band gauge?

Good catch! Narrow band 0-1v. 8000 series anyway.

Don't waste your time with a narrow band. It won't tell you anything.

i wouldn't. Isn't that pretty much used for stock vehicle apps. I don't know much about it. I just ordered my sensors and warning lights last night just for the comfort level and ease. Just low fuel pressure and high oil temps to install next to gauges.
