Default Aluminum Exhaust Manifolds ?

So I know this may seem like a dumb question but just received a set of EMI Manifolds and risers I hope to soon install on my 502 mpi . I am thinking by looking at the manifolds though that they may have sent me 2 of the same side manifolds. I figured that the manifolds would be side specific with the risers mounting more toward the front of the manifold on each side . Am I confused here ? Cant go look at stock setup for a couple days .

They are 2 of the same. When installed the port side center is a tad closer to the transom then the starboard. Here is my EMP on the 502

Would guess they are generic like IMCO's. Mount either one to either side and they should work. Just make sure the water inlets are pointed in the right direction.

They are not side specific and neither are the risers. The even # cylinder side will just be a little farther forward.

You also have to keep in mind that the cylinder banks on each side of the motor is offset from one another.

Correct that they are not side specific.
But the risers may be.
When I did my EMI exhaust with extra height and length risers I found that my risers only lined up one way.

I found this because I tried the wrong side first. Then when swapped it all went together nicely.
