502 mpi mag thread size

Was putting things back together on my 502 mpi mag port eng. yesterday. I found the power steering pressure hose cracked right at the point where the hose crimps to the fitting off the back side of the power steering pump. I'm thinking that i want to reroute the pressure hose from over the top of the valve cover to under the manifold. My question is, what is the fitting size on the saginaw power pump? is it a #6 inverted flare? or is it something different. I want to install a earl's fitting or equivalent fitting at the pump then run new hose back to the tiller ram. Is the tiller ram also a inverted flare fitting. and whats size might that one be? The biggest problem that i see is the fact that there is only approx 3" clearance from the back side of the pump to the lifting bracket bolted to the head. Does any one make a fitting that works in this location?
