Throttle & Shifter Adjustment

I have not been able to identify the throttles/shifters in the attached picture via google search. The boat is circa 1996 with 7.3 LX Mpi's and B1's. Neither the Claymer nor MC book 1 of 2 manual lends any info.

My throttles are not even rpm-wise and after a mechanic pushed the shifters all the way forward (to install risers/manifolds) I'm having a hard time finding the neutral detent. I want to adjust both the throttles (to make physically even compared with rpm) and shifters (to get the detent feel back).

Any help you can lend with this procedure and/or pointing me in the direction of a adjustment document would be greatly appreciated.

Just standard Merc / Kiekhaefer controls. They may or may not have an actual detent for neutral.

Adjust red cable barrel ends at the shifter bracket on the engine. Adjust the shifter cable ends only, not the lower cable that goes to the drive.

Basically same principal for throttles.

Thanks to both!!

Griff,
I'm able to feel a detent when hitting neutral as well as an audible click. The shifting is working fine, I'm simply trying to get the "feel" at neutral back.

There may be an adjustable tension screw that can be tightened to get more feel from the detent.
