Timing Chain

Gen6 502 mild blower build, stock timing cover

There is a nice double roller eddie young young told me about. I used it in mine. You have to shave the ribs down inside cover. It's a quick and easy process.

Howards 94309

I used the Howards as well.
But used this cover to replace the stamped steel.

big price gap between the Cloyes and the Howard. are they that much different? (besides the duel chain)
both have billet sprockets
from a good ol google search it looks like Roller master was a hit once, any experience with them?

Id like to keep the stock merc cover

The stock cover works with the howards just gotta shave the ribs on the inside. It was recommended by Eddie young and he's a quality engine builder. I believe the howards is made by rollmaster
