There is a nice double roller eddie young young told me about. I used it in mine. You have to shave the ribs down inside cover. It's a quick and easy process. Howards 94309 |
I used the Howards as well.

big price gap between the Cloyes and the Howard. are they that much different? (besides the duel chain)
both have billet sprockets from a good ol google search it looks like Roller master was a hit once, any experience with them? Id like to keep the stock merc cover |
The stock cover works with the howards just gotta shave the ribs on the inside. It was recommended by Eddie young and he's a quality engine builder. I believe the howards is made by rollmaster |
