I should add that painting air gaps suck, lol.
I powder coated (after hard anodizing) my intakes for that very reason. I knew I couldn’t get the paint sprayed in there well without issues. The anodizing made it for a base and the powder went right over. The trick was matching the paint for the rest of the engine to the powder.
