Generation IV No spark. 454. Help!!!

Hi guys. Have done many searches and tests. Still having no luck. Bought a boat last week with no spark. Person I bought it from replaced gen iv system with an msd. He still got no spark. I put all the gen iv back in the boat yesterday. Put new cap rotor and distributor sensor. Checked and double checked all wiring. Cleaned all grounds. Have 12v at the positive side of coil 12v coming out of white/red wire on ignition module. Tried 2 coils. Disconnected tach off of negative side of coil. Tried tapping the white/green wire on ground with a spark tester and can’t get the light to light but not sure if the light is any good. Anyone have any other ideas? Only part I can’t find at the moment to test is the ignition module. It’s a v8-24.

Run through this troubleshooting guide. Its for a TB5 but works the same for a TB4

Also, if the gray tachometer wire is connected to the - side of the coil, remove it until you get spark back. Once spark comes back, reconnect and if it will not spark it will be the tach or the gray wire

Thanks guys. I did do that procedure and everything tested good up until grounding the white green wire 2-3 times per second. I swapped another coil and still the same which is leading towards an ignition module but I can’t find one to swap out. Also I did disconnect the gray wire from the tach and also tried disconnecting it from the negative side of the coil. Still nothing. I’m hoping I can find another module today

Another question. When the tach was connected should the needle move at all when ignition is turned on or while cranking? Mine has no movement at all. It’s a factory 1990 formula electric tach by the way

It should show about 300 rpm while cranking. If unable to find another module I would suggest installing Delco EST

Update. Found a similar module. V8-22. Mine had a v8-24. Got it to run but now have to replace the raw water pump. Thanks for the help!!!!!
