Antidrainback No means it doess not have one
With screw down you want the a anti valve (meaning antidrainback Yes)

As for Fram, I personally don't use Fram oil filters

Ok,then most filters are out as HP6 Moroso 22465 and others without Antidrainvalve!!!
Looks Merc 600-700sci better needs filter with an Antidrainvalve because the filter is at every start empty from oil without Antidrainvalve, right??

So what filter have it and big size with 1 1/2-12 in. UNF thread????????

I added a 3/4 cone check valve to my plumbing so no need for valve now. I don't think any of the hp6 style have the valve.

That sounds bad for me!!!
The orginal merc filter holds the oil and drain only back when tighend it a bit to get air in it.
So all guys here use the big filters without anti drain valve?
Maybe best option is to change the filter mount to the newer engines and use the smaller diameter filter!!!???
Need only 2 parts!
connector 22-805632
base oilfilter 8M0021768
merc uses on all SCi 2010 newer the small diameter filter that are lowpriced.
It needs only this 2 parts to convert. All others are same.I have checked.

The Baldwin will not fit. It is only the small filter and not the one with 4,6 inch outer diameter like HP6 !
The small ones are easy to get but i look for the bigger ones! Michael
