I started with a Stock Black Merc Holley then painted the Bowls & base plate with auto epoxy paint. Looks very good and seems to hold up better than expected. Whatever color you paint it, make sure that there is a matching Rustolium color for touchup.

I appreciate everyone’s input, the amount of been there done experience is always helpful.
i have decided to send them to c&s as they are the ones that built them and have them go through and coat them for me

When we get carbs back from the carburetor rebuilding shop that we use. They are completely stripped . We have been using hi temp engine paint. Then engine clearcote. Obviously not too heavy of coating. They come out real nice. And stay nice.

Those were gone through by Norm & Smitty ( rebuilt and 1 dyno'd ) just before you bought them, about 5 hrs of run time.
