Fuel Line Tank Return from Regulator

I installed Young's larger tank pickups for the A1000's and am now looking at a way to return the fuel to the tank from the regulators.

I am finding a bunch of diesel sumps that can be installed in a plastic fuel tank. Any options anyone knows of to return two -6 lines to the tank? I'll need to add holes and don't want to run 25' of fuel line to the filler neck.

If you have an open port on the water separator filter block you can return it there.

No concerns on aeration? What about heat and vapor lock? I know the factory does it, but I eliminated the cool fuel as Eddie said to return it to the tank.

Brad Smith built my 540's with 500 EFI intakes and thats the way we did it........Whipple recommends doing it the same way on the 3.3 EFI kits.......and no never had an issue in my boats,

Edit: cool fuel is garbage, but you know that

WE run back to the filler hose with a sleeve so that we don't aerate the tank. WE just run 1 larger line from the engine room and tie the 2 returns together. Regards Dan

I can try it back to the filter head, if it doesn't work I can always run it back to the tank. I don't like the idea of more holes....

I believe jegs makes a 1,5” sleeve With a 3/8s nipple that can be spliced into the gas filler hose for return lines

For 2 inch fuel fill line, I have them without the 2 rubber hose splices making the price a tad cheaper and MY SHIPPING IS NOT GOING TO BE 30 bucks either.

I was told at the Holley EFI class that I also need a dip tube to reach below the surface of the gasoline to prevent aeration if returning straight to the tank.
wasn`t a problem with carbs but that's 7psi vs. 43. so...

I ended up running two -6 returns to a single -10 and placing it part way up the tank away from the pickups.

I can't see any way to run it back to the Hardin filter heads without causing heated fuel or some weird fuel pressure issues especially with the amount of fuel the A1000 will move.

Speaking of FP, what should I start out with pressure wise at idle? I am running a regulator that is 1 to 1 boost reference. I believe the factory is 43-45 psi for MEFI 3?

Good to know, I'll try it out one day as the regulators are mounted to the filter heads.
