Bravo bellows

Anyone got any helpful hints on installing the sleeve on the aft end of the u-joint bellows? Tried everything and it is just a no go. I have a driver, greased everything and it doesn't even start to slide in. This is a B1. Any hints appreciated.

The Aft end as the end closest to the stern?
Should not be using grease, just Bellows adhesive and it slides over the transom assembly opening.

What is the part number of the bellows your using?

If you’re talking about the drive side, there’s two grooves on the bellows. The one that seems the most obvious is for the alpha. You have to pull it a little further through for bravo groove. I wrestled with it for days before figuring it out.

Thanks for all the help and advice. I finally got that ring slid in place. It took a 3# hammer and a 3' crow bar. Scary , huh. Nothing damaged and it looks good..
