Head bolts were the only ones that got sealant. I used loctite 592 on those. Every bolt was wire wheeled and cleaned before putting back in. I used a felpro marine gasket set, and all surfaces were thoroughly cleaned before put together.

Did you reuse your head bolts?

I put about 15 minutes of runtime on the motor this afternoon on the hose, some idling and sometime between 1500-2000 rpms. Oil shows NO sign of moisture. Previously it took less than 10 minutes and the oil was milky.

Differences between this time and last:
-5w30 instead of 25w40
-New riser and spacer gaskets
-Pulling gas from an external tank
-Bow of the boat is probably a foot lower running this time vs. last. (Had it jacked way up to drain water in the bilge last time)
