496 Manifold on 454 Mag EFI

I understand the 496 Manifolds bolt up to a 454 Mag EFI.

Is there an adapter for throttle linkages, oil filters, etc for the risers. Currently have those mounting to risers on stock motor. I am looking at installing 496 Manifolds. If there is an adapter to buy great if there is tweak please advise. Pic of mine before I spruced things up.

Thanks in advance.

Shift linkage can just be lag bolted or screwed to the transom

Why change the manifolds? I see you boat in cold fresh water, you will gain nothing in performance, just a pain. Enjoy it looks like a nice clean engine!

Please post your solution as im doing the same swap. The 496 manifolds have to make more power or mercruiser would have kept the log style manifolds and box raisers and every aftermarket manufacturer would have a pair in their performance lineup. They shed weight and thats free performance (take care of the ounces and the pounds take care of themselves).

Get the early aluminum ones. The ports are huge.

Weight savings. Merc iron manifolds and riser are what 60 lbs or more. 496 alum ones are maybe 20.

Just the advantage of having a dry joint would be enough to convince me. Ive been burned too many times by the ****ty wet joint on the stupid iron manifolds. Plus if you can find the aluminum manifolds, it is a significant weight savings over the iron wet joints. Did I say how ****ty the wet joints are!!!! and you can usually find someone upgrading to headers that want to sell them cheap. They dont come up often though. Plus did zI say how F***in ****ty the wet joint manifolds are!!!!!!!!!!
