rocker arms adjustment,, so my isky card says 028 hot....
what would you adjust to cold?????

according to Power nations,,,they say iron block alum head...006 tighter????

your thougts???

i could fire motors,,,then adjust,,,but it is a job getting my covers off,,and my thought is everything will cool off in ten minutes??

Heat expands dont why you would set them .006 tighter ? unless Im missing your post

yea i set them at 22.......card says 28 hot..so went 066 tighter.

back in my drag races days we set the intake at .022 and the exhaust to .024

The info for iron block and aluminum heads to set them cold and .006 tighter is a good starting point. It'll be pretty close. If your not gonna do them hot then this is your best approach.
Otherwise set them this way cold and get it hot, as in having run down the lake fully warmed up hot, and pop one cover at a time and fine tune them. Just warming up on a hose is not the same.

hey smithy,,,yea saw a clip on power nation,,,they said 006 tighter,,,
it just makes time to get covers out..like 10-15 mintes....so going with the 006 tighter...
