Bilge lighting?

What have you guys done in terms of lights in the bilge ? I thought about machining up some brackets and using “ rock lights “ like I used to do on my crawlers years ago with 3-4 different color settings. What are your suggestions? For my ol Cigarette Cafe Racer.

I'm looking for a good solution. I'm thinking more of a strip light system that has more lumens but less intensity from any single source. Makes it easier to see everything from multiple angles.

Look into COB strip lights. Different from standard LED strips. Instead of individual LED's it is a solid strip of light.

Or, there is also this style of strip lights. I put them under my rocker panels on my truck to light up my running boards and they are very bright.

The access to the area becomes part of the scope of work, doesn't it? How on God's green Earth do you get in there, especially on multiple engine boats?

i used the underbody style thats in tube, https://www.ledunderbody.com/led-underbody-light-kits/ ended up being expensive after adding the extra tubes etc but being its in the tube its easier to mount them, the tape style i would stick them to some aluminum strips then attach them to the fiberglass/

I bought this for the trailer, ended up around 800 in it 75ft

sorry for the lg piks

it helps when its a smooth surface, all my mirrors has the 3m tape , have to break them to get them off

there are some tiny plastic C clamp style bracket to help hold them in place on top and above the 3M sticky tape... will try to post a picture tonight if that can help

In hard to bond with tape places or places that will get abuse I use 3m weatherstrip glue. put it on where you want something, put it on the something, let them dry a bit and then attach them. It works really well and can be removed if needed, it just sucks removing.
