LS style throttle bodys

has anyone tried running dual LS style throttle bodies on top of a root blower? they seem to flow as much if not more then a 4150 style throttle body.

many its called a blower hat about 5-7 grand for a carbon fiber one with red butterflies

are you talking about a bug catcher?

im meaning like running a adaptors to go from a 4150 carb or 4 barrel throttle body to a GM 4 bolt 105MM motor blade

boostbros 05-06-2024 01:02 PM

they make them in billet and i think there called toilet bowls not sure on that though i have seen big billet single or 2 of them on a blower

I know what you are saying, and I haven't seen it.

This is the closest thing to a production piece that exists to my knowledge.

I believe I created a file that I merged a 4150 and a LS flange together. I was going to 3D print adapters for what you are looking to do. Haven't looked for the file in a while.

yah, that is what i was thinking Rookie, i found some that Holley made, so figured id give them a shot

BBYSTWY 05-09-2024 12:24 PM

Only issue I could see is having to add fuel rails above the blower as well since we are talking roots blowers....they need fuel running through them...I strongly considered this on mine as holley makes an add on fuel rail that mounts to a 4150 flange but it was far more cost effective to just run terminator "throttle bodies"

ive got TBS efi plate so the blower will be wet
i was looking at going over to the terminator system, after talking to holley it was cheaper to keep the HP system, get a plate and the adaptors. i wish the terminator was plug n play. would have been way easier:P
