On a tbiv ?

There is an e-clip on shaft just under rotor that prevents this. So, your saying you’ve seen these missing ? Guess it’s possible.

Well, the clip was a good idea, but everything OK in that department.
I changed the sensor again and voila. Right now it works, if it stays so... who knows. The other issues remain.

Factory or Aftermarket sensors ? If Aftermarket, are they sumyunguys or Sierra ?

Ville123 09-09-2024 07:20 AM

Mine are sumyungguys :).

Then why are we asked to help diagnose when you have bottom of the barrel chinese crap in there ?

Asking for a friend…..

That schit can cause all sorts of problems we are not used to. Seriously.

Ville123 09-09-2024 08:28 AM

Well, the part in the world where I am (eastern europe), the chinese stuff is available. To get OEM parts, I would have to order via ebay from US, when it will be price for the item + 5x the price for shipping + 2x the price for customs. And wait a month, so the stuff gets here when the season is over. So its more reasonable to buy sumyungguys several times if necessary to get it right.
Sorry, this is the hand I am dealt and have to manage.
