38 Zr Comp

Is there a performance difference between the staggered vs the side by side setup. if so how much. also what about the cg in the side by side boat. does it still fly flat? maybe looking for a 38zr comp in the near future. also how do these boats do with more power, say 750-800 per side. with its
thanks

I have a ZR Comp for sale in the classifieds( all white...169k)
Side by side 500's and as stated it is the best handling boat i have been in - seriously ! The staggered set up may be a couple of miles per hour faster top speed but i know the around the dock manuverability is sacrificed a bit as well.
In all conditions this boat has out performed most others brands in all areas- manuverability , comfort and speed.
PM Me or call the numbers in the ad if you would like more inout.

Just sold one w/ 750 Cobras/Boxes/XR Sportmasters...
Cruised 80-85, Topped-out 110+ mph like it's on rails.
Natural motors w/ long Imco input shaft keep drives alive.

Thats one nice rig w/ 750's...
The biggest attraction to the ZR , Besides the awesome looks, handling and canopies- was the efficiency of the hull.
500 efi boat cruisin at 75+(wot86+) - add some ponies and it'll really rock!! as stated in above post...

NICE boat. have you ridden in a staggered boat. any differences with the ride attitude? have you owned since new?

Re: 38 Zr Comp

I have not been in a staggered ZR. My boat attitude is very neutral - like most well designed twin step hulls...
