Past or present 38ZR owners
what is your take on these? Highs & lows, any regrets? Thanks Jeff

Re: Past or present 38ZR owners
You know my thoughts - it is the best choice for a sit down v- bottom boat; period.
The only regret is i didn't get one sooner as my last boat cost me way too much in repair bills. There are a few available- it just depends on your budget. On the west coat there are there available all very different boats. Mine all white 500efi - 169k Darryl's all red 575 - 200k Conrad / Bowen's race boat 525 - 219k Each of these are pristine examples of the ZR Comp, but each one is for a different person as well. Dollars have to make sense for the buyer... |
Re: Past or present 38ZR owners
I own a 2004 38 ZR comp 750hp Cobras.
Hands down the best boat I have ever owned. |

Re: Past or present 38ZR owners
I am in the market for a used 38 Zr (Comp) looking to see how people feel about staggered vs. non setup in the boat. I know the obvious differences in overall speed and low speed docking but how does it effect the overall handling and balance of the boat. I do not want a former race boat and my budget is 150ish. Yes, I am also looking at the Gladiator. Don't crucify me... I used to own a 22 Classic.

all white and not a former race boat ! Dave |
Re: Past or present 38ZR owners
Dave,
Nice classic Donzi look. I have been looking at that boat. What does she run speed wise. It looks like a great boat but people have told me staggered is the way to go on the Zr's. However, I do know the F class boats run extremely well too. Wherein Cali. are you? |
