38ZX Daytona handling???
I am in the process of finalizing a deal on an 01' 38 Daytona and had some questions. THe boat is running 600 innovations through Bravo 1's. It currently is spinning labbed 32" B1's turning in. I am concerned about the props turning in. What ill affects could this have on the handling and ride in the boat? I know turning in is good for a couple mph, but I don't want to be in a loose feeling boat.

Re: 38ZX Daytona handling???
The 38ZX's that I'm familair with, at least the past 2-3 yrs., all spin inward(w/500's and better). I've not noticed any handling down-sides at all. Remember that it's alot wider than most, and heavier than a few in it's class. It's inherintly gonna' be more stable. That hull works well.

Re: 38ZX Daytona handling???
Is your Formula for sale at Xtreme Marine? If so I crawled all over it Saturday. Nice boat. If it had a gen. and microwave I might shoot you an offer. I have several friends that have 38s and they are very stable boats.

Re: 38ZX Daytona handling???
Yep, thats mine. I don't know of any 38 formula's with microwave, but I can see where it would be nice. I'll take a low enough price that genny would be an easy upgrade. Steve told me someone was coming to check it out Saturday, I guess that was you huh? I was down at 121 for the start of the Poker Run, were you down there?

Yes we ran in the poker run. We were the ones dressed up like the Incredibles in the red, black and yellow 25 Outlaw.

Okay, I was standing next to you a couple of time and didn't even know.
If you are serious about a generator in my boat, send me an email and lets talk some more. I need the boat gone and will definitely work with you on it. Plus I'd love to see it stay local. [email protected] Corey |
