38 ZX speed
 

i am getting a 1999 38 Donzi ZX in the shop at the end of this month and am thinking about doing a conversion to a pair of 850 Sterlings and Konrads on boxes. any guess as to what we can expect for speed?

boat now has 525SC's and Bravos does low to mid 80's

I Have 2002 38zx With 500 Efi's Running Mid 70's In Good Conditions, Friend With 2001 Daytona W/575's And Ext Boxes Running 86. Both On Gps. The Owner Of Jb Racing Had His Pleasure 38 Zx At Loto Last Summer With Prochargers Or Whipple(whipple I Think)on 525 Efi's And He Was Getting 90mph At 750hp Or So He Said. He Brought It Down From Michigan. It Was A Newer Like 05 With Extension Boxes Also. Good Luck, Sounds Like Fun For Everything But The Drives.

Wow, that should be near a 100mph boat pending on how much power the konrads take. keep us posted as to how she runs!!!
