Dash Mount GPS - 38ZX - Suggestions Please
 

I would like to mount a GPS in the area just above the cabin door on my 38ZX. What are you using or suggest. Thanks in advance.Ted.

I've got a 33zx with a Garmin 2006c mounted up there. Sometimes the sunlight will make it hard to read, but all in all a good location. If I could do it over I would try to build something to angle it back towards the driver. I really think that would make it all around easier to see.

Thanks Brian, I like your idea and I think I could fabricate an angle piece so that the driver can see it better. Would you buy the Garmin 2006c if you were now shopping for a new GPS unit. Thanks Ted.

I'm sure that I would. I haven't really looked in the last year or so to see what is out there, but I do like the Garmin. It can do a lot of stuff, most of which I don't really have a clue how to use.

We have ours mounted just to the right of center, works out great!
