Donzi Factory At The Chicago Boat Show
 

The factory said they wanted to make a good showing for Chicago boat show so they sent up the factory sales reps and management to display their boats. They had the 43zr, 38zr, 35zr, and a 26 and 28 i believe. Boats looked awesome, the 43 had staggered teague 980's. Great guys to talk with. I will try to get some pics by this weekend.

They did have a great display. As well as Concept.. Sorry no pics of the Donzi. But I did take some pics of the 36 Concept.

scott turned down the offer, it supposedly upset reggie, understandably so. he will not be the donzi dealer for chicago but rumor has it that grand sport is looking and in talks with donzi. maybe good fit for their product lines.

Yep, Reggie threw a fit and was going to pull his dealership, so he rejected Donzi and waited to the last minute to tell them that he wasn't going to be representing them.

Not that I have anything against Shogren, thats just what I heard. Also I heard he put up the Donzi blimp that was given to him and put Shogren on it over the Donzi.

The Donzi display was the best of the offshore manufactures in attendance. Nice layout of the boats and nice product line representation. Congrats.

Lets just clear the air, we did NOT cover up a Donzi sign with Shogren. Unfortunatley, some things do not work out and this is more complicated than just carrying another boat mfg.

Donzi makes a fine product and Tom Kosto is a class act.

Maybe someday things will be different but for now we are very happy selling the "Worlds Fastest V-Bottom".

Another note..... For the 1st time I skipped going down to the lower level (RV area) I was told there was some type of offshore race simulator? Any truth to that??
