beautiful ride.

Frank thought Bob ordered this for himself.....

Shanghied Again 02-27-2007 03:04 PM

Bob wants to build a BIG engine Comp he wants over 130MPH after driving a cat that does 160.. 115 is fast but its not fast enough for Bob.

Undertaker 02-27-2007 03:34 PM

Well that explains it..... Great looking boat though, I kind of like the sit down boat a little better than the stand up...Would like to go for a ride in the 38ZRC some day...maybe at the Hometown Rally....

Tell Bob Driver to get going and build the 43 ZRC that we were talking about on the dock last year.... :D

43ZR w/ a cut down hull, ZRComp sitdown cockpit, 1075's, 6's and you can call it a day .... :evilb: :evilb:

That boat looked great this weekend in Islamorada. I thought it was a 43 ZR until I saw it for sale. You guys did great to back it into the tight spot it was docked in.

That was all Bob C., he is a great driver on top of being a great guy. I was on that boat when we ran 105 full of fuel and 5 (not small) guys. That boat ROCKS!

Now I need someone to trade in their '03 or '04, 525 Comp towards this boat!:eureka:

Will Donzi have a 38 ZRC at the Key West Boat show this weekend?

ktron 03-02-2007 06:41 AM

That 38 is sick! I love the look and the numbers sound real fast with the 700 setup.

Shanghied Again 03-03-2007 08:21 AM

We will have the 38ZRC at Sarasota Poker Run the end of March.

Rcrapsey 03-03-2007 08:00 PM

Will we have the newest 38 w/ 700's by then?:D Can't wait...

Sit or Stand?? Either way congrats!!

Comp ZR rough ride?

My local beaker dealer was beating on me by saying that these Comp ZR's are great inland lake boats. He says that I will get beat up beacause Donzi does not use the spring loaded seats like Fountain does in their race boats. What are your thoughts?

OL40SVX 03-04-2007 11:01 AM

Your going to love your ZR. We have a Gladiator and you dont need spring loaded seats. The fountain dealer was just jealous that you have a boat thats runs better on and off the race course. Once you have a sit down boat, you never want to stand again.

It's a stand up w/ 700's should be deleivered in Sarasota in the next seversl weeks we'll be at the Sarasota run for it;s Maiden voyage..

OL40SVX 03-04-2007 07:21 PM

The Zr is a perfect boat for the 700's! Congrats again!!

Shanghied Again 03-06-2007 08:06 AM

Go to the www.donzimarine.com website and go to the racing site and watch the 38ZRC race overseas. The boat has won 2 years in a row. I never liked a sit down boat until I drove the 38ZRC in rough conditions (Springs Under Seat?) there is no need for them in the ZRC.
Robert happy to see you on the board..
